Welcome to Mr. Harrod's Upper Elementary Children's Web Pages 

During this school year, Ms. Munoz is working with children from Mr. Harrod's classroom to help them develop their own web pages. Each child composed his or her own biography, brought in some photographs and/or drawings that are important to them, and then made a short audio recording.

The children used Adobe PageMill 3.0 to make their web pages. To scan in and edit their drawings and photographs, they used Adobe Photoshop 6. To record their voices they used Apple Computer's SimpleSound. The children then used QuickTime to convert the files from their native format into QuickTime thereby reducing the size of the files by over 90% and maintaining the integrity of the sound itself.
