Former Meher student Henry Cano has contacted Mrs. Munoz.
Below you can read two e-mails sent by him.

Hello, my name is Henry Cano. I am currently a sophomore in high school. I was
in the middle of a project when I stumbled upon the Meher Montessori
web site. It brought back so many memories, I even felt a bit sad, because I
loved this school so much. It has been so long, I don't even remember what
years I attended. There really isn't a day that goes by that I don't think
about the days I spent, the friends I made, and the things I learned at this
school. I remember so much from my days there. I remember everything from
Miss. Shaeffer's class. I still have a lot of my old work from there as
well! I also remember the times I had been sent to Miss. Adela's office =P.
I truly believe that if I didn't attend Meher Montessori I wouldn't be the
person that I am today. I would like to thank all the staff that taught me so
much at this school.

I'm so glad that after so many years, the staff that I will forever remember also remember me.
I have always meant to drop in and visit, but I never got the time to. Weeks
turned to months, and then into years, and after all that time I just
thought that all of the staff that I had known would be gone. I never would
have guessed that some would still be there. I remember I was really good
friends with a kid named Tommy. Have you heard from him?
I attend Nogales High School in La Puente. Since being at Montessori have moves a couple of times.
Everyone is doing well here at home.
I love all kinds of music. Indie and Alternative mostly. I'm not really into
sports, just skateboarding. I LOVE History and Biology. Right now I'm
thinking of what I want to do in my future. I think my love of marine
animals came from seeing them at Montessori. I'm trying to decide on being a
History teacher and being a Marine biologist. Those are things I would be
happy doing. But right now I have to really just focus on High School. But
it doesn't hurt to have plans, right? Haha.
I wont forget to tell my mom you said hi. I'm sure she would be surprised.
I'll keep in touch!
